Legal Store is a technology platform operated by Legal Store Limited. We connect people who need legal help with Hong Kong law firms. We are not a firm of solicitors, we do not employ solicitors to act for you, and we do not provide legal services or legal advice.

All legal work is carried out by a law firm you choose and engage directly. Your relationship with that firm is governed by the engagement letter you sign with them, not by these terms.

Our AI Handy collects information from you so that a solicitor can review your matter. It is not a lawyer. It does not give legal advice, does not assess your prospects, and does not quote fees. Nothing it says should be relied on as legal advice.

You must give true, complete and accurate information. Law firms rely on it to check for conflicts of interest and to price your matter. Inaccurate or incomplete information may cause a quote to be withdrawn or an engagement to be terminated.

Giving false information, including naming parties with whom you have no genuine dispute, will void your submission, close your account, and may be reported to the Police where deception is suspected.

Every price shown on Legal Store, whether a quotation or a fixed-price service, is indicative only. It is based on the information you provided and on the assumptions the firm has stated. It is not a binding offer and does not create a solicitor-client relationship.

The final fee, the scope of work and all terms of engagement are set out in an engagement letter between you and the law firm. Only that signed document is binding.

When you submit a case, law firms first see only the names of the parties and the type of matter, so that they can run a conflict of interest check. Your account of what happened is released only to a firm that has cleared that check and has expressly accepted that receiving it may prevent the firm from later acting for the other party.

You should understand that a firm which has read your case may be unable to act for the other side, and equally may be unable to act for you if you later fall out with the firm you chose. You may close your case to new firms at any time.

We are not a party to any engagement between you and a law firm. We are not responsible for the legal work carried out, for the outcome of your matter, or for any advice given to you by a firm. Complaints about a solicitor's conduct should be directed to the firm and, if unresolved, to The Law Society of Hong Kong.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction.
